joy, happy, glad…
Saturday, January 28th, 2006This is the day that the Lord has made;
I will rejoice and be glad in it !!
I am back from the campsite for holidays!!! HOORAY!!
It was quite fun to participate in such activities, but it was a nightmare for me at first, for i cant adapt to the tight schedules and discipline life..
We get not more than 6 hours of sleep… may be less… and we have phisical activities for almost half of the day: marching, learning marshall art, "kembara halangan", "tali tinggi" and more… And it is very fun…. I made tonnes of friends in the camp, and i also get a lot of experiences… food, well, to be frank, it is not satisfying though… if you cant stand spicy food, it is quite impossible to survive in there… smabal, curry, rendang, fried chicken, fried rice, everything HOT, you name it, they have it…NO WONDER i have sore throat two days ago… i cant even speak… sigh… i didnt drink enough water, yeah, it’s my fault… 
Well, although it’s quite tough in there, ive started to adjust to the environment… wake up 5 to 5:30 in the morning and marching under the hot sun… it all has toughen me up, making me a stronger person.. hehe
Yesterday, i met all my best friends… we had a reunion dinner, and we really enjoyed ourselves… there were so much to talk about, and we were too sad to leave each other at midnight… i think i better stop here, coz i dont want my blog to be too stretchy.
However, i feel a sudden chill and loneliness when i think of all my friends all over the world, studying and going through their own independent lives… Striving for the best… I pray that God have mercy on them and bless them as they go through the many phaces of life… May we meet again one day……..
